Developed for the 2019 collection, inspired by an antique swatch purchased in 1930s Japan by our second-generation owners, Remy Sr. & Lucile Chatain. The original was a metallic gold print, executed on the most delicate of rice papers. Tucked away in a small folder of travel ephemera for almost one hundred years – we felt it was time for this textural treat to see the light of day.
